This coin design portrays a koala on a gum tree branch. As well as the inscription ‘KOALA’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P125’ mintmark, and the coin’s weight, purity and year-date.

H.M. King Charles III effigy

The coin’s obverse portrays the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the monetary denomination.

Authentication feature

The coin incorporates an authentication feature on the reverse. In the form of a micro-laser engraved letter, it is only detectable under a magnifying glass.

Presentation

The coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule.
